CANImmunize Clinic Flow for Mass COVID-19 Immunization Programs – the Nova Scotia Experience

The COVID-19 mass immunization roll-out is one of the largest, most complex mass health interventions in our lifetime. This session will describe the development and implementation of a digital mass immunization solution for Nova Scotia. Solution components include: province-wide booking, integrated clinic software, immunization repository feeds, digital immunization receipts and potential for adverse events following immunization (AEFI) reporting. Additionally, this presentation will address limitations with digital immunization solutions while describing how the data from such a system can support the science of COVID-19 vaccines.

Presenter(s): Katherine Atkinson and Dr. Kumanan Wilson

Katherine Atkinson is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of CANImmunize and has worked with the CANmmunize project since its inception. A passionate believer in the power of digital technology, Katherine is a published expert in mobile technology and immunization.
