Presented by the Canadian Paediatric Society, this webinar features Dr. Nicholas Chadi, paediatrician and clinician investigator specializing in adolescent and addiction medicine, CHU Sainte-Justine in Montreal. Dr. Chadi is principal author of the new CPS guidance document on vaping.

Target audience: Paediatricians, family physicians, nurses/nurse practitioners, social workers, youth justice workers, school staff.

Learning objectives:

• Discuss the short- and long-term health effects of e- cigarettes and vaping among youth
• Apply a youth-centered approach for screening and treatment of vaping and e-cigarette use
• Describe the importance of reporting illness (and how to do so)

This webinar will be presented in English, but the Q&A session will be in English and French.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 1 credit hour.
