A Vision for Improved Health Care for Everyone: How Modernizing PHIPA can Deliver a Data-Driven Health System
In early May, ICES released a new report, Modernizing Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act: Recommendations for a Data-Driven Health System.
The report is an opportunity to continue ICES’ engagement in this conversation with all provincial stakeholders and share our recommendations with our partners and communities as we exchange knowledge and innovative solutions in the data privacy sector. By advancing our vision of improved health and health care for everyone through world-leading research and analytics we hope to move the dialogue on health system transformation.
This free, virtual webinar will provide an overview of the current challenges within PHIPA and the 5 recommendations made by ICES. Using case studies, we will bring these challenges to life and discuss what is possible in a data-driven health system.
Our aim is to and stimulate discussion about how robust and creative data frameworks and data governance models will benefit the public and lead to improvements in the health system.
