To support the City of Hamilton's ongoing work developing a Housing Sustainability and Investment Roadmap, we have invited two housing thought leaders to share their expertise and discuss the way forward.
Using compelling data analysis, Steve Pomeroy will present on the complex policies, programs and practices that have landed Canada – and especially Hamilton – in the current housing crisis. Following Steve’s lecture Mohamad Bsat, a housing and human rights lawyer in Hamilton, will have a fireside chat with Steve to discuss what can be done to move Hamilton towards a sustainable affordable housing system and what that will mean for the residents who need it.
