Please save the date for the 2023 PHPC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Symposium. We are delighted to announce the return of this in-person event on April 27, 2023.
The 2023 PHPC CPD Symposium has been organized to coincide with ASMPQ’s annual event, which will take place at the same location on April 28-29.

Registration
Registration is open to PHPC Members:
Member: $250
Resident: $100
Registration includes breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks on April 27. An optional social event is being planned on the evening of April 27 and more details will be provided shortly.
Accommodations
Discounted rooms ($189/night + tax) are available at the Hilton Laval (2225 A. des Laurentides, Laval, QC), located across the street from the Sheraton Hotel Laval. Please note:
- Anyone who wishes to stay at the hotel for longer than one night (April 26) should call the hotel directly (1-450-682-2225) and mention that they are with the PHPC CPD symposium group in order to access the special rate on other nights (pending availability).
- The booking link expires April 7, 2023 so please book as soon as possible!

The PHPC Research, Education & Practice (REP) Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Series Learning Objectives:
After this session participants will be able to:
- Identify and discuss current and emerging public health issues from a public health physician perspective.
- Explore the role of public health physicians in implementing innovative approaches in response to these issues.
- Identify key resources for future reference and continued learning.
